Cynthia A. Nierer joined the firm in the Spring of 2011. Ms. Nierer has represented the mortgage default industry throughout the State for over 20 years. Prior to her joining Pitnick & Margolin, Cynthia was the directing partner of the REO closing and eviction departments of a New York based national law firm.
Cynthia is a graduate of St. John’s University, School of Law and a member of the Queens County Women’s Bar Association. Professionally, she has served as a Board Member and Education Chair of REOMAC® from 2008 to present.
Cynthia was the recipient of the 2009 CMIS Award for Excellence in Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Law and the 2009 USFN Member of the Year Award. Cynthia is a member of the Board of Directors of REOMAC and is a frequent participant as a speaker on numerous industry panels and webinars and has also had many articles published in various mortgage default industry publications.
Cynthia has been made a partner of The Margolin & Weinreb Law Group, LLP as of May, 2015.
